Pictured Memories

Memories of eight care home residents are at the heart of the current wide-ranging and evocative exhibition.

A group of students interviewed the residents and then commissioned fifteen gallery artists to produce works inspired by the life stories that had been revealed to them.

The exhibition has been receiving interest and attention from local media.

The exhibition remains open till mid-December.

The upstairs rooms contain the usual assortment of work by resident artists. The main exhibition is downstairs – here are some of the works you will see…

Do visit the gallery and see the work for yourself. This is just a sampling of the show.

Dunford & Binks Downstairs Plus One

There is much to see in the new exhibition opening Saturday June 16th. Showing till the middle of August, there is ample opportunity to make more than one visit and really absorb the work.

Downstairs, popular artists Brian Dunford and Graham Binks have another joint show of work, while upstairs members of The Arts School are having their first group exhibition.
Work by resident artists fills other spaces in the gallery.

As usual, work is for a sale, and there are unframed prints and cards available too.
