Gallery North’s 2019 programme is about to get under way with this year’s WaterWeek exhibition.
The opening preview of the Waterweek 2019 Vital Water exhibition is on Sunday 3rd March. There will be a further event at the gallery with respect to the actual Waterweek on the evening of 22nd March.
A unique inter-generational community project is coming to fruition next month with an exhibition of more than twenty works by fifteen artists based on the memories of a group of residents from Bowes House who were interviewed by four local students.

A visual narrative on the emergence of the concept of affordable decorative
art. Other works on display include original paintings, photography, pottery
and wood turning by the resident artists and photographers.

Celebrating Hailsham Arts Festival 2018, Slot Canyon “Composition” is
a joint exhibition of paintings and photographs by Tony Spencer and
Donna Hudson. Also taking part in the Festival Art Trail, the gallery will be
showing a wide variety of work by resident artists and photographers.

A major exhibition of vibrant paintings and artworks by Graham Binks and Brian Dunford. Their work includes landscapes, still life, figures and contemporary images painted in watercolour, oils, and acrylics.
Joining this exhibition upstairs is One – The Arts School. To celebrate their first year, The Arts School is delighted to hold an exhibition of tutor and students’ art work. Sophie Douglas and students show a selection of their work in various mediums including charcoal, pencil and paint.
