Andrew G. Forrest: Painting and Photographs

Now showing at the gallery until the end of August…

Andrew G. Forrest was a sixth form college History and History of Art tutor until his retirement in 2008. He now focuses on painting, photography and playing guitar and bass. [Included in the show is a colour photograph of Eric Clapton and his Band playing at the Royal Albert Hall.]
Andrew chairs the Society of Eastbourne Artists and has taught art both in Eastbourne and at Atelier Lerignac in the Charente.
His work is regularly on show in galleries throughout Sussex and Surrey.

The one-man show, filling the entire ground floor of the gallery, is a continuation of LINE PLANE COLOUR, the joint exhibition which Andrew shared with Irene Runayker during July.

This is a varied and colourful exhibition of watercolours, acrylics, prints and photographs. All work is for sale.

As usual, the upper floor of the gallery displays work by resident artists. Their work is also for sale.

In addition to the framed works the gallery stocks a range of cards by both past and current exhibitors.
